074: In this episode, Dr. Brittney guides you into a gentle 13-minute C-section scar massage meditation* designed to support scar tissue mobility, postpartum core recovery, pelvic floor integration, nervous system regulation, and emotional processing after cesarean birth. Whether your C-section was planned, an emergency surgery, or something in between — this practice creates space for your body to be met. Without assuming grief and without forcing gratitude, you'll practice allowing what is present.
*Please note: scar tissue is not a flaw. It is evidence of repair. This meditation is appropriate once your incision is healed over and your provider has cleared you for touch (ie. no bandages, no current infections)

Many of my friends and clients walk away from their C-section confused why months after birth, every-day living still feel challenging. As you may have guessed, or felt for yourself, C-section recovery impacts more than the visible scar. It can influence:
Core strength
Diastasis recti
Bladder function
Breath mechanics
Posture
Pelvic pain
Intercourse
Abdominal numbness or tightness
If you would like individualized support for C-section scar mobilization, pelvic therapy, core rehabilitation, or holistic postpartum care, I invite you to book a free connection call with me.
On that call, we’ll discuss:
Your birth story
Your current symptoms or concerns
What personalized pelvic PT support could look like for you
You deserve care at any point in your journey — weeks postpartum or years later, whether you desire to have more children via C-section or VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).
If this episode supported you, please share it with a friend who had a C-section. Postpartum care should be normalized, not optional.
Journal prompts for you after the meditation
Are there any stories about your birth or yourself that you're wanting to transmute or let go of?
Are there any other ways your body wants to be tended to?
How does it feel to give yourself attention and loving care?
