ABOUT BEING BETTER

Holistic pelvic therapy for women who want to feel at home in their bodies again.

This is a place for personalized support for pelvic health, menstrual wellbeing, pregnancy, postpartum healing, sexual vitality, and deeper body connection.

At Being Better, pelvic care is not just about symptom relief. It’s about helping you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, restore trust in yourself, and thrive through every season of womanhood.

Women's health is foundational to collective health.

Your pelvic health matters.

This work is deeply personal to me because women’s bodies have too often been misunderstood, dismissed, over-medicalized, or treated with one-size-fits-all solutions. Too many women have been taught to disconnect from their cycles, override their symptoms, or accept pain and dysfunction as normal.

I believe there is another way.

At Being Better, I support women in moving toward a more sustainable, holistic, and deeply respectful paradigm of care — one that honors the intelligence of the body, the complexity of healing, and the sacredness of pelvic health.

Because when a woman feels well in her body, connected to herself, and supported in her healing, that ripple touches everything: her relationships, her family, her work, her creativity, and her community.

Even helping one woman come back into deeper wellbeing, self-trust, and self-love matters. One body at a time, this work changes culture.

Hi, I'm Dr. Brittney Ellers

I’m a holistic pelvic physical therapist, women’s health educator, facilitator, and guide devoted to helping women experience more ease, vitality, confidence, and connection in their bodies.

My work sits at the intersection of evidence-based pelvic healthcare, embodiment, nervous system support, movement, and honest, compassionate conversation.

Transforming Pelvic Healthcare

I found my path in pelvic healthcare after earning my doctorate in physical therapy and moving through my own healing journey with menstrual cycle challenges, pelvic floor pain, and sexual shame. That experience changed everything. It deepened my understanding not only of the body, but of how layered pelvic healing can be — physical, emotional, relational, and deeply personal.

Since then, I’ve supported women through a wide range of experiences, including pelvic pain, menstrual issues, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, sexual wellbeing, and the transitions of the reproductive years.

I consider it a profound privilege to do this work.

Pelvic health can be intimate, vulnerable, and complex. That’s why I approach every client with care, reverence, attunement, and respect for their individuality. My role is not to override your body or impose a rigid process. My role is to help you listen more deeply, feel more supported, and access the tools, practices, and care that allow healing to unfold.

I believe the pelvis is a root center of life, creativity, power, and confidence. And I believe that when women reconnect with this part of themselves, everything can begin to shift.

Who This Work is For

If you’ve been told to ignore it, push through it, or “just live with it” — this space is for you.

You may be here because you’re navigating:

  • pelvic pain or tension

  • menstrual cycle issues

  • painful intimacy

  • pregnancy-related changes

  • postpartum healing

  • core and pelvic floor dysfunction

  • a loss of connection to your body

  • a desire for more pleasure, vitality, and trust in yourself

You may also be sensing that what you need is not just a protocol, but a more whole-person approach to healing.

This work is for women who want more than symptom management alone. It’s for women who want care that is informed, individualized, body-aware, and rooted in real relationship.

A Holistic Approach to Pelvic Healing

Healing is about more than reducing symptoms.

It’s about restoring relationship with your body, addressing the deeper patterns that may be contributing to pain or disconnection, and creating the conditions for more ease, resilience, and vitality over time.

In our work together, we may explore:

  • pelvic floor and core function

  • movement and body mechanics

  • nervous system regulation

  • embodiment practices

  • cycle awareness

  • somatic and energetic healing tools

  • honest conversations about intimacy, identity, and self-trust

  • practical tools you can integrate into daily life

Whether you’re moving through menstrual challenges, preparing for birth, healing postpartum, tending to sexual wellbeing, or simply wanting to feel more at home in your body, the goal is the same: to support you as a whole person — not just a set of symptoms.

For my one-on-one care, I’ve built a process that centers your needs, your pacing, and your inner authority. Rather than applying a generic formula, we assess together session by session, choose supportive modalities based on what is most aligned, and create space for you to practice listening to and advocating for your body.

Because true healing is not about becoming dependent on someone else’s expertise. It’s about becoming more connected to your own.

BEING BETTER IS GROUNDED IN

DEVOTION TO THE DESCENT

Real healing asks us to slow down and listen beneath the surface. The pelvis holds many layers — physical, emotional, creative, relational. When we are willing to meet what is there, we open the door to deeper power, clarity, and aliveness.

AUTHENTIC RELATING + WITNESSING

Sometimes what heals most is not force or fixing, but being deeply seen. I believe care should include listening, attunement, honest dialogue, and the kind of space that allows you to reconnect with yourself.

REVERENCE FOR THE WHOLE HUMAN

Pelvic health is never just physical. The body reflects the broader internal landscape, which is why I honor the interconnectedness of body, mind, emotions, spirit, and lived experience in the healing process.

SACREDNESS + SLOWNESS

There is no rush in this work. Whether we are together in person or virtually, we honor your physiology, your boundaries, your pacing, and your conscious yes.
