Where your internal experience meets steady attention — not intervention.
Your body, your nervous system, and your felt sense are the real guides here. My role isn’t to fix or persuade you — it’s to hold space that lets clarity happen in its own time.
Here are the ways I'm available to work together one-on-one.
8 weeks, 4 sessions
Refine is a shorter, focused container designed to help your internal compass settle with precision and ease.
Across four sessions, we trace what’s alive right now and help your body organize clarity before action. Refine is not about performance or correction — it’s about orientation and discernment.
6 months, 12 sessions
This is a relational, embodied container held over time.
We meet twice a month, and the identity work unfolds beneath the surface of thinking — it happens in your body's sensation and presence.
DESCEND is for women who want to loosen the busy work of effort and come home to their own internal compass. It’s slow, grounded, and deeply reflective — a space where identity softens into felt truth.
$225 for 60 minutes
Even as I move toward holding more long-form containers, single sessions remain available for a while longer. These sessions are different in intention than the mentorship containers — they are occasional moments of reflection, clarity, or re-centering when you need presence without long-term pacing.
If you know you want to stay in touch with yourself but aren’t ready for a container, single sessions can serve as brief markers of presence along the way. (These sessions will continue to be available as I transition fully into longer mentorships over the next six months.)
"I started working with Dr. Brittney at 8 months pregnant, and thru our sessions she taught me how to properly leverage my pelvic floor and how to BREATHE for birth. Thanks in huge part to our work together, my experience giving birth to my son was truly beautiful…
I continued to work with Dr. Brittney (and still do at 11 months postpartum) and it has been KEY in my ability to return to activity (and my body) in a short period of time. She helped me rebuild my pelvic and abdominal strength, and coached me on how to progressively and safely return to prebaby activities.
Not only was Dr. Brittney a gift to me on my journey to becoming a mama, but thru our sessions I experienced a deep reconnection to my feminine, and a resolution of pent up sexual shame and distrust. I’ve discovered worth, safety and enjoyment on a new level and couldn’t be more grateful.
Dr. Brittney’s level of knowledge, understanding and intuition is profound, and she matches it with deep compassion and care. Every woman should gift herself the experience of a session with Dr. Brittney."
The "standard of care" for women provided through the traditional medical system isn't enough. The quick 15 minutes with an MD, the blasé 6-week "clearance for exercise and sex" in postpartum, and the "just wait it out" when things don't feel RIGHT down there is inexcusable. You deserve better.
Every woman’s body holds its own stories, needs, and healing potential. In our sessions, we create a sacred space for you to reconnect with yourself, moving beyond symptoms to true transformation. With loving support, deep knowledge, and proven methods, I help you navigate the complexities of pelvic health so that you can feel at home in your body again. Healing is not just about treatment—it’s about empowerment, growth, and reclaiming your vitality.
Most sessions happen virtually, so that distance doesn’t limit your access to presence. For those who prefer in-person support, I also offer sessions in my private residence in Carlsbad, California. (Address shared after booking your session.)
What matters is not the format —
it’s that your body feels heard, grounded, and steady.
Book a session to begin your journey toward pelvic comfort and confidence.
There will be no rushing. No questions unanswered or concerns dismissed. I am here to listen to every aspect of your story—from your fears and traumas, to your hopes and deep inner knowing.
Knowledge IS power. From understanding your anatomy and physiology, to sharing proven therapeutic exercise, I will guide you towards autonomous choices—and help you communicate them effectively to your partner, trainer, or your medical team.
If you want an alternative to Advil and RICE, I can recommend complementary therapies, practitioner referrals, herbal remedies, self-care techniques, and dietary and lifestyle changes that you know your body would thrive on.
For in-person sessions, I use modalities such as manual therapy, myofascioal massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and internal vaginal or rectal work to help us map any physical + energetic discomforts. Virtually and in person, I guide people in their own self-touch bodywork.
The body is full of energy that can be stuck, absent, or flowing freely.Through somato-emotional release, guided meditations + visualizations, or chakra work, we'll rely on your body's wisdom to realign your energy.
Personalized therapeutic exercises, simple stretches, full yoga flows, frequently adjusted practices and sequences will to return you back to the movements YOU love while remaining pain-free.
From faking orgasms and experiencing painful penetration to embodying a Vaginal Alchemist and feeling more pleasure than ever before.
She worked through a variety of pelvic floor, low back and knee issues from her first postpartum experience through her second pregnancy and postpartum and now feels the full mind-body connection.
In her first pregnancy and first time doing hands on and in pelvic work, she realized there was ancestral healing ready to be felt.
Mentorship tends to feel right when you’re less interested in solving a single issue and more curious about how your body and inner experience want to reorganize over time.
If you’re noticing a desire for continuity, depth, or a steadier relational space — rather than one-off support — that’s often a sign that a mentorship container may be supportive. Many people reach this point when they’re ready to slow down, listen more closely, and allow change to happen without rushing it.
You don’t need to be in crisis or have a clear goal in mind. Mentorship isn’t about pushing toward outcomes; it’s about creating the conditions for clarity, health, and self-trust to emerge naturally.
If you’re unsure, we can always talk it through together. Often, the body knows before the mind does.
In all one-on-one spaces, I bring:
attention that listens deeply, not reactively
presence oriented around your experience, not agenda
pacing that respects your nervous system, not deadlines
an invitation to feel more of what’s true, not more to manage
This is not coaching in the sense of directions to follow.
It is guidance in the sense of a field you can sense and settle into.
That being said...
This work can include manual therapy where I will feel around your pelvis and use one gloved finger internally to assess your pelvic muscles and organs, nervous system, general tone and energetic health, with your consent and full awareness.
With a trauma-informed approach, I move with care and precision. You have every right to stop at any time, as we practice safe boundaries and honoring where your body is at every step of the way. I also use tools from my background in yoga, breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, nutrition and craniosacral therapy to cover you in body-mind-spirit.
We begin with a conversation. I will ask you questions about your history, your current experience with symptoms or issues, and your goals. Then, we will look at your posture, movement, and address any other issues along the way - it’s best if you are wearing comfortable workout clothes. If your body and nervous system feel ready, I will do an internal assessment (vulvar, vaginal, or rectal depending on what's necessary) with gloved hands. I use my intuition and your body to guide me in any healing or reflection. After assessment, treatment, and getting dressed, we will discuss next steps that align with you, your life, and your goals.
Follow-up sessions are an opportunity to stay in relationship with what’s unfolding in your body, rather than rushing toward a fix.
Each session is one hour and is shaped by what’s present in that moment. Our work may include hands-on support, gentle movement, internal or external pelvic work when appropriate, nervous system and craniosacral support, and spacious conversation to help you sense and integrate what’s changing.
Rather than following a rigid plan, sessions are responsive and attuned. We listen to your body first and let the work emerge from there.
For some people, meeting regularly over a period of time helps their system settle and reorganize more fully. Others benefit from shorter pulses of support or occasional sessions spaced over months. There isn’t one “right” rhythm — part of the work is discovering what feels supportive for you.
If you’re noticing that you want continuity, depth, or a steadier container, this is often a sign that a mentorship format such as Refine or DESCEND may be the most supportive next step. These containers offer pacing, relational depth, and space for change to happen without pressure.
We can always talk through what kind of support feels most aligned as your needs evolve.
Being Better is an out-of-network practice and does not accept insurance.
Working outside of insurance allows our time together to be spacious, individualized, and responsive to what’s actually present — rather than structured around billing requirements or predetermined treatment codes.
Payment is collected at the time of service and can be made via Venmo, Zelle, credit/debit card, and most HSAs. If you have out-of-network benefits, you’re welcome to submit receipts directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
If you’re curious about longer-form mentorship or want support that isn’t shaped by insurance frameworks, we can explore those options together.
As this practice grows, we are limiting home visits to those newly postpartum in transition with a little one by private appointment only. Please email hello@wearebeingbetter.com for more information, or click the button to set up a call with Dr. Brittney.
If you’re still healing from postpartum with a vaginal or cesarean birth, we can still do a lot of great work together to help you along your journey, but it wouldn’t include touch to where you’re still healing. Scar tissue work can begin as soon as you’re not bleeding and have no signs of infection (~5-8 weeks postpartum).
If you’re on your period, and don’t mind having Brittney do internal work with you, she doesn’t mind either. Some feel that internal work/yoni massage are actually helpful for a more ease-ful period. Brittney can offer you a soft disc (that covers the cervix) or you can free bleed for your session.
It's really more of a love letter to you and your body.
