If you're someone who is either (or everything below)
Coming off hormonal birth control (or curious about coming off one day soon for any reason)
Postpartum, breastfeeding, and looking to find some semblance of regularity and sacredness in your everyday life experience
Able to track your cycle but don't know how to EMBODY each of the phases
Feeling overwhelmed with the range of options for cycle syncing as well as the newfound emotional/physical range you experience
...then welcome to a new way of being, sis.
For 75 days (which can be about 2.5 menstrual cycles), you'll be stretched to commit in a consistently-inconsistent way where cyclical women thrive AND actually feel/see results.
No more "same shit, different day" patriarchal hustle-and-grind for you or your body.
This challenge is an opportunity to flex your "go with the flow" feminine attitude, cyclical hormones, and life force energy.
Let's go over the MANY benefits and effects.
Creating regular periods and cycle
Improved fertility
Understanding and acceptance of pleasure and desire/sexuality changes (more on this theory of libido to come)
Becoming your best self in a sustainable way (really though)
Not listed are all the symptoms that cycle syncing can help with that are directly related to your hormones.
If you've dealt with
Weight gain that you're struggling to let go of
Mood swings
Depression or anxiety
PMS
While these symptoms are common and almost expected and accepted as being part of a woman, none of these things are normal.
LET ME REPEAT: THESE SYMPTOMS ARE NOT NORMAL.
We could go off on a huge tangent here with how this relates to feminism, body image issues, period shaming, self-esteem and confidence in our youth today, but I’d rather share with you the interesting and powerful information about your cycle and how to work with it, so that you can check in and see if you notice the changes in your body, mood, energy, and overall livelihood.
You get to make this experience your own.
The tools that will guide you
You'll be introduced to the differences between menstrual cycle tracking and cycle syncing and learn how to do BOTH. You'll then learn the "challenge" guidelines that you can use to dip your toes into cycle syncing for 75 days. There are helpful journal prompts and cycle syncing cheat sheets for different aspects of your life (the challenge guidelines include 2 aspects of life - nourishment and movement - but you're more than welcome to experiment with the other 2 as well!)
Sign up for Freely or Powerfully PHASIC, an online community where you can share your insights, wins, challenges, and be seen by myself and others going through this experience. There will be a specific thread meant for 75HER participants.
What you decide to do next is your choice. But something tells me once you begin living this way, you'll never want to go back to living linearly. You weren't meant for eventual burnout anyways.
I’m not a nutritionist or medical doctor, I am a pelvic health educator and advocate who draws on research and personal experience. I am an expert of my own body, and I invite you to become an expert in yours. I trust that you will read this through your own lens, take what resonates, leave what doesn’t, and begin to get curious about how you cycle through these phases. Your inner authority and intuition should trump anyone else's, including my perceived authority as a medical practitioner.
It's really more of a love letter to you and your body.
